How to create a context menu for SMS Client Center in the Configuration Manager 2007 console

If you have ever worked with Configuration Manager 2007 you properly know about the great freeware tool called SMS Client Center created by Roger Zander. The complete Forefront Endpoint Protection 2010 installation and configuration guide

Forefront Endpoint Protection 2010 (FEP 2010) allows you to consolidate desktop security and management in a single solution, because it is built on System Center Configuration Manager 2007. That means in many cases you can use your existing client management infrastructure to deploy and manage your endpoint protection. Enabling Hyper-V in Windows 8 Preview

Microsofts virtualization platform Hyper-V is now included in Windows 8. The requirements are as follows: Windows 8 64 bit version At least 4 GB of ram An x64-based processor Second Level Address Translation (SLAT) Hardware-assisted virtualization: Intel Virtualization Technology (Intel VT) or AMD Virtualization (AMD-V) technology. Hardware-enforced Data Execution Prevention (DEP): Intel XD bit (execute disable bit) or AMD NX bit (no execute bit) enanled in BIOS. Hyper-V is not enabled in Windows 8 by default. Now that Microsoft have made Windows 8 preview availible you are properly eager giving it a test run and in the age of virtualization you are properly going to install it in a virtual machine. Hey–why does it sometimes take so long to delete a virtual machine from the Hyper-V console?

You may have noticed that it sometimes take quite some time to delete a virtual machine from within the Hyper-V console. It can take hours in some cases. This happens if the virtual machine has snapshots and it is by design. What actually happens when you delete the virtual machine is that the snapshot(s) is being merge into the VHD file and then the virtual machine is deleted from the Hyper-V console. Hey, where did my PXE Service Point go in Configuration Manager 2012?!

The PXE Service Point is no longer a separate site system role in Configuration Manager 2012. Instead it is a function of the Distribution Point Role.
