Managing Third Party Updates with System Center 2012 Configuration Manager SP1  – Sunday, April 7, 5:00 PM – 6:15 PM

The session will provide you with tips and tricks to solve the daily challenges around patching your environment with Microsoft and non-Microsoft updates. You will learn how to design and configure a Software Update solution that will be easy to manage and yet powerful enough to maintain your server and desktop environment. The session will cover how to implement and publish custom updates using System Center Updates Publisher 2011 and integrate the available 3rd-party update solutions from Secunia and SolarWinds.

Configuration Manager 2012: MVP Experts Panel – Monday, April 8, 2:00 PM – 3:15 PM

Migrating From Configuration Manager 2007 to Configuration Manager 2012 – Tuesday, April 9, 12:00 PM – 1:15 PM

In this session, learn the best tips and tricks for Configuration Manager 2012 migrations. This session is based on experiences and best practices from having done more than 20 migration projects. During this you will learn how to prepare both environments for migration and common issues you need to know about. During the session you will learn how to plan for object migration, including packages, task sequences, software updates, reports and best practices for client migrations.

System Center Configuration Manager 2012 Jeopardy Quiz – Wednesday, April 10, 4:30 PM – 5:45 PM

This in–depth session on System Center Configuration Manager 2012 features four teams that will go head–to–head in a challenging Jeopardy–style quiz. The session will be hosted by two long–time Configuration Manager MVPs that will act as completely impartial referees. This session aims to make this an entertaining yet educational experience by pitching two MVPs defending last years title, against two product team members eagerly looking for a revenge.
